Following our hearts desire is an invitation to die to ourselves over and over again. A desire is something we want because we believe we lack that of which we need. A desire will always lead to a lesson and is an opportunity for growth, whereas an aligned ambition is a desire that is birthed by God for your good and his glory.

In a world that is constantly in flux, it is easy to forget what we were designed for. We are creative beings because the creator of the Universe designed us that way. If you’ve lost that creative spark, let this be a re-ignition of your creative spirit.

It’s not easy to walk in uncertainty. But if God is the author and perfecter of our faith, has numbered the hairs on our head, and knew us before we were even born— what would stop us from trusting in his plan for our lives? The wilderness season is hard, but it doesn’t have to be.
